NEW BUILD CONSERVATION & REPAIR RESEARCH & TRAINING MONUMENTS |
At Little & Davie, we understand the benefits that being part of a larger network brings and we work in partnership with other organisations to develop the fields in which we work, as well as our own skills and knowledge base. A research report in 2000 for the Scottish Executive into the potential for new earth construction has been followed by a number of industry-led Research and Development projects, as well as conservation research: In 2000 we co-authored a SCOPING STUDY ON THE POTENTIAL FOR NEW EARTH CONSTRUCTION IN SCOTLAND for the Scottish Executive Central Research Unit. In 2001 we collaborated on a Light Earth research project for Gaia Architects. In 2003 we assisted in the development of the ECO-BRICK FOR THE ERROL BRICK COMPANY. In 2005, we co-authored the findings report of the ten-year EARTH STRUCTURES RENDERS & PLASTERS PROGRAMME FOR HISTORIC SCOTLAND. In 2006-7, we were a partner in HISTORIC SCOTLAND'S SOFT CAPPING RESEARCH PROJECT In 2008-9, we undertook CLAY PLASTER RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT for the
