We have carried out many projects removing decayed and cracked cement pointing and replacing with a sympathetic lime mortar. Pointing not only affects the breathability of a masonry wall but can change the aesthetic appearance of the building. We carefully select the aggregate and binder content of the mortar to produce an appropriate colour match. The key to a successful pointing project is the aftercare of the work; we fully understand and monitor the curing process of lime to produce a beautiful traditional finish.
